Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 1.5 pounds salmon filets skin removed and cut into 1-inch bites
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • chives for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
  • In a large bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the salmon pieces to coat evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  • Divide the sauce in half. Reserve one half for serving and use the other to toss with the seasoned salmon bites.
  • Place the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd. Air fry for 4-5 minutes, flip, and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the salmon reaches 140–145°F.
  • Transfer to a serving plate, drizzle with the reserved sauce, and garnish with chopped chives.

Notes

For oven preparation, bake salmon at 400°F for 16 minutes flipping halfway. Toss with sauce after baking to avoid burning.
