Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets skin-on for extra crispiness
  • 60 g Brown sugar
  • 30 ml Bourbon or non-alcoholic substitute
  • 15 ml Soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 10 ml Lemon juice for acidity

Instructions

  • Start with fresh salmon fillets and pat them dry to help the glaze stick. Mix up your glaze and brush a light coat over the fillets, letting them sit briefly to soak up the flavor.
  • Set the air fryer to a moderate-high temperature and lay the salmon in a single layer. Cook until the glaze starts to caramelize and the fish looks beautifully opaque at the edges, about 10 minutes.
  • The salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork. If the glaze looks underbrowned, give it a quick brush of glaze and pop it back in the air fryer for a minute.

Notes

Tip: If the glaze doesn’t stick, make sure to pat the fish dry more thoroughly before glazing.
