  • 1814 g Beef short ribs approximately 4 lbs
  • 120 ml Soy sauce
  • 50 g Brown sugar
  • 15 ml Sesame oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cm Ginger grated
  • 240 ml Beef broth
  • 2 stalks Green onions chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Start by preheating your oven to 150 °C (300 °F).
  • In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Rub this mixture all over the beef short ribs.
  • Place the ribs in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth around them.
  • Cover the pan with foil and roast for 3 hours.
  • Remove the foil and increase the temperature to 230 °C (450 °F) for the last 30 minutes to caramelize the top.

Notes

Tip: Marinate the short ribs overnight in the fridge for the best flavor, and always let the meat rest for at least 10 minutes after cooking.
