  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 7 g Instant yeast
  • 250 ml Milk warm
  • 75 g Butter melted
  • 1 ea Egg
  • 10 g Cinnamon
  • 5 g Cardamom
  • 5 g Ginger
  • 5 g Cloves optional
  • 100 g Cream cheese for frosting
  • 50 g Powdered sugar for frosting
  • 2 ml Vanilla extract for frosting

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and instant yeast. In another bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, and the egg. Combine wet and dry ingredients and knead until soft.
  • Allow the dough to rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  • Spread melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and cloves evenly. Roll tightly into a cylinder and cut into 12 slices.
  • Let the slices proof for an additional 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly.
  • For frosting, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread over warm rolls before serving.

Tip: Experiment with different frostings like a spiced glaze or lighten it up with a powdered sugar drizzle for an alternative taste.
