  • 150 g Romaine lettuce washed, chopped
  • 100 ml Caesar dressing adjust to taste
  • 50 g Grated Parmesan cheese optional extra for serving
  • 100 g Croutons store-bought or homemade
  • 4 slices Bread ciabatta, baguette, or sturdy sandwich loaf
  • 15 ml Olive oil for cooking chicken
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 squeeze Lemon for extra brightness

Instructions
 

  • Start by patting the chicken dry and seasoning it well with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 75°C, about 4–6 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  • While the chicken cooks, toast or grill your bread lightly to give it a sturdy, crisp edge.
  • Slice the chicken, then toss the romaine with just a little dressing.
  • Layer it onto the bread with chicken, romaine, Parmesan, and a sprinkle of croutons.
  • Finish with a drizzle of dressing and a sprinkle of Parmesan for a glossy touch. Serve promptly!

Tip: Keep the croutons separate until you’re ready to assemble to maintain their crunch.
