Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Whisk
  • Measuring Cups
  • Serving plate

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 500 g Salmon fillets
  • 15 ml Olive oil for cooking
  • 30 g Butter unsalted
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 150 ml Cream heavy cream preferred
  • 5 g Italian herbs or Tuscan herbs
  • 100 g Optional greens or tomatoes for brightness

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Add the salmon to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for about 6-8 minutes until the skin is crispy. Carefully flip and cook for another 4-6 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
  • Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, melt the butter over low heat and add the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Whisk in the cream and Italian herbs, then let it simmer for 2-5 minutes until slightly thickened. Add the salmon back to the skillet and let it coat in the sauce for 2 minutes.
  • Serve the salmon drizzled with the creamy garlic sauce. Garnish with optional greens or tomatoes.

Notes

Tip: If you want a crispy finish, consider putting the salmon under a broiler for 1-2 minutes after cooking.
