  • 180 g Long-grain rice
  • 240 ml Chicken broth
  • 240 ml Heavy cream or low-fat milk
  • 1 small Onion diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 15 ml Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • In a skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic in the olive oil until they turn translucent.
  • Add the chicken and brown it on both sides for about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the rice, chicken broth, and cream. Bring it to a simmer, then cover and transfer to the oven.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 74°C or 165°F).
  • Let it rest for a few minutes, then serve warm. Trust me, letting it sit helps the flavors come together!
