  • 450 g Firm white fish cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 100 g Panko breadcrumbs or seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 65 g All-purpose flour
  • 1 Large egg beaten
  • 30 ml Melted butter
  • 1 Lemon zest
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • optional Garlic powder for extra warmth
  • optional Paprika for extra warmth
  • 125 g Mayonnaise
  • 1 Small garlic clove minced
  • 5 ml Lemon juice
  • a pinch Salt
  • 10 ml Olive oil for a silkier texture

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 205 °C. Pat the fish pieces dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge each piece in flour, dip it in the beaten egg, and roll it in breadcrumbs combined with lemon zest and any optional spices.
  • Arrange the coated bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with oil and cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • While the fish is cooking, whisk together the garlic aioli ingredients and let it chill for at least 15 minutes.

Notes

Tip: Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure the coating stays crispy.
