  • 240 ml Brewed coffee strong, cooled
  • 120 ml Coffee liqueur optional
  • 240 ml Heavy cream
  • 240 g Mascarpone cheese
  • 60 g Powdered sugar
  • 5 ml Vanilla extract
  • 24 pieces Ladyfinger cookies
  • 15 g Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if you’re using it). Set this aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
  • In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until you achieve a smooth texture.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until everything is fully combined.
  • Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for about 1-2 seconds, but be careful not to soak them.
  • Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of your serving dish.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  • Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.
  • Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.

Notes

This tiramisu is a wonderful make-ahead dessert. You can put it together a day in advance and keep it in the fridge. Letting it sit overnight helps the flavors combine and gives it a perfect texture.
