  • 300 g Pasta any short shape like penne or rigatoni
  • 500 g Chicken breast skinless, boneless
  • 30 g Parmesan cheese grated
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 125 ml Cream or milk
  • 15 ml Olive oil for cooking
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 15 g Fresh herbs like parsley or basil, optional

Instructions
 

  • Start by gathering your ingredients and prepping ahead: chop garlic, grate parmesan, and have your pasta salted and ready to go.
  • Sear the chicken in the pan with olive oil until browned for flavor, then take it out to rest for a bit.
  • Return the chicken to the pan with the garlic, add cream or milk, and stir in parmesan until the sauce is silky.
  • Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente, then save a bit of pasta water. Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the sauce, tossing everything to coat.
  • Add the chicken back in, taste and adjust seasoning, and finish with a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
