Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 182°C and lightly mist the basket with oil.
Pound the chicken to an even thickness and season it with salt and pepper.
Whisk the egg with water in a shallow dish. In another dish, mix together the parmesan, breadcrumbs or almond flour, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Dip each piece of chicken in the egg, then press it into the parmesan mixture until evenly coated.
Place the coated chicken in the air fryer basket, spray lightly with oil, and cook for 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until the crust turns golden and the internal temperature reaches 74°C.
Let it rest briefly, then serve with a wedge of lemon or a drizzle of marinara for dipping.
