Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Electric Mixer (optional)
  • 8-ounce glasses or jars

Ingredients

For the Cheesecake Mixture

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Oreo and Strawberry Layers

  • 14 Oreo cookies crushed into fine crumbs
  • 8 ounces fresh strawberries diced into small pieces
  • whipped cream optional, for topping

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir with a fork or use an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  • Begin assembling the layers in 4 (8-ounce) clear glasses or jars. Spoon about one-quarter cup of the cheesecake filling into the bottom of each glass.
  • Sprinkle two to three tablespoons of crushed Oreos over the filling, followed by two to three tablespoons of diced strawberries.
  • Repeat the layering process (cheesecake filling, Oreos, strawberries) until the cups are filled, aiming for about six layers total in each serving.
  • For the best texture, chill the cheesecake cups in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the layers to firm up slightly.
  • If desired, pipe or spoon whipped cream on top for a decorative touch just before serving. Garnish with extra Oreo crumbs or a strawberry slice.

Notes

Helpful Tips & Variations

Softening Cream Cheese: Always use room temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps. To soften it quickly, cut the block into smaller cubes and let them sit on the counter for about 30-60 minutes.
Ingredient Swaps:
  • Greek Yogurt: Whipped cream can be used for a fluffier, lighter base.
  • Maple Syrup: Powdered sugar is a good substitute. Use an electric mixer to ensure it blends smoothly.
  • Fruit Variations: Feel free to swap strawberries with raspberries, blueberries, or a mixed berry blend.
Storage Guidelines: Store the cheesecake cups covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best results, add the whipped cream topping just before you plan to serve them.
