Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Loaf Pan
  • Baking Sheet

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground chicken lean
  • 100 g Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 large Egg for binding
  • 50 g Breadcrumbs for moisture
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 15 ml Olive oil for frying
  • 5 g Salt
  • 2 g Black pepper
  • 5 g Dried herbs like oregano or basil

Instructions

  • Start by combining the ground chicken, parmesan, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs in a mixing bowl until they’re just mixed.
  • Shape the mixture into a uniform loaf about 5–7 cm thick and place it in a lined loaf pan or on a baking sheet.
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Bake the meatloaf for about 30 minutes or until the center is firm and the outside is browned.
  • Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of sides.

Notes

Tip: Avoid overmixing the ingredients to keep the meatloaf tender. Allow it to rest after shaping for cleaner slices.
