  • 500 g Chicken breast skinless, cut into strips
  • 150 g Pretzels crushed
  • 50 g Flour for coating
  • 2 large Eggs beaten
  • 100 g Cheddar cheese grated
  • 50 ml Cream for sauce
  • 15 ml Mustard prepared
  • 15 ml Olive oil for cooking
  • 1 tsp Salt for seasoning
  • 1 tsp Paprika optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Pat the chicken dry, dredge in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and press into crushed pretzels.
  • Arrange the coated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, shaking the basket halfway.
  • In a small saucepan, combine the cheddar cheese, cream, and mustard over low heat until melted and smooth.
  • Serve the chicken with a drizzle of the Mustard Cheddar Sauce.

Notes

Tip: For a lighter version, use lean chicken cutlets and consider baking instead of frying.
