Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 600 g Chicken breast or thighs cut into pieces
  • 150 g Pineapple fresh, chopped
  • 50 g Brown sugar
  • 30 ml Soy sauce or tamari
  • 15 ml Rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 5 g Garlic minced
  • 5 g Ginger minced
  • 10 ml Oil for spraying

Instructions

  • Mix the glaze ingredients—brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger—in a bowl until combined.
  • Toss the chicken pieces in the glaze to coat evenly and let sit for at least 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer. Place the chicken pieces in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between them.
  • Cook at 200°C for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  • Serve hot, drizzled with any remaining glaze and garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Tip: Avoid overcrowding the air fryer to maintain crispy edges and juicy centers. Pat the chicken dry before applying the glaze.
