Equipment

  • Baking Dish
  • Large Pot
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 300 g Sushi rice rinsed and cooked
  • 250 g Canned or fresh salmon flaked
  • 50 ml Spicy sauce to mix with salmon
  • 15 g Green onions sliced, for garnish
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  • Start by rinsing the rice until the water runs clear, then cook it until it's tender. Fluff the rice and let it cool a bit.
  • Prepare the salmon by mixing it with a spicy sauce or tossing it with your desired heat level. Cook the salmon until it’s just opaque and flakes easily.
  • Spread the cooked rice as a base in your baking dish, then layer the salmon mixture on top. Bake until everything is hot and bubbly, and the edges look lightly caramelized.
  • Let it rest for a moment after baking so the flavors settle and the slices hold their shape when served.

Notes

Tip: If you want a crispy top, finish with a quick high-heat pass or broil briefly until the edges are golden.
