Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Skillet
  • Whisk
  • Meat Thermometer

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 600 g Steak ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 200 ml Cream or half-and-half for lighter version
  • 50 g Butter for sauce
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 30 ml Stock or water if needed to loosen sauce
  • to taste Fresh herbs like thyme or parsley
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese optional, grated

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to a high setting, then season the steak generously with salt and pepper. Place the steak in a single layer and air fry, flipping it once, until it reaches your desired doneness.
  • While the steak is cooking, make the creamy garlic sauce. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and soften the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the cream to the skillet and simmer gently while whisking until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Finish the sauce by whisking in any optional cheese and fresh herbs. If the sauce is too thick, loosen it with a splash of stock or water.
  • Let the steak rest briefly before slicing it to keep the juices intact. Serve slices drizzled with the creamy garlic sauce.

Notes

Tip: For an extra rich sauce, whisk in a touch of grated cheese near the end. Make sure not to boil the sauce too hard to keep it smooth.
