Equipment

  • 9x13 Baking Dish
  • Medium Saucepan

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 packages Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage Crumbles 9.6-ounce, fully cooked
  • 8 oz cream cheese full-fat recommended
  • 2 packages crescent rolls 8-ounce tubes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sausage crumbles and cream cheese. Stir until fully melted and combined (about 5 minutes).
  • Unroll 1 package of crescent dough into the prepared baking dish. Press seams together to form a solid layer.
  • Spread the sausage-cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  • Unroll the second package of crescent dough and place on top of the filling. Seal edges by pinching together with the bottom layer.
  • Bake for 14-16 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

Pro Tip: For extra crispiness, brush the top crust with melted butter before baking. Leftovers reheat well in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
