Instructions
Assemble the sandwich with pesto, turkey, cheese if using, and any greens you enjoy. Butter the outside of the bread lightly for a golden crust.
Heat a skillet over medium heat until it’s hot, then grill the sandwich for about 2–3 minutes on each side, pressing gently to melt the cheese and toast the bread.
If using an air fryer, preheat to 190°C and cook the assembled sandwich for about 4–6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy.
