  • 400 g Canned tomatoes diced
  • 300 g Beans canned or cooked
  • 50 g Onions chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 5 g Basil fresh or dried
  • 5 g Oregano fresh or dried
  • 15 ml Olive oil for cooking
  • 100 g Chicken cooked and diced
  • 100 g Tofu cubed, optional

Instructions
 

  • Start by chopping the onions and garlic. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add onions and garlic to the skillet, cooking until fragrant, about 3 minutes.
  • Stir in the canned tomatoes, beans, and any chosen protein. Add basil and oregano, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Combine the pasta with the tomato mixture, stirring until well mixed. Serve hot.
